At December 7th was opened In the cafe of the National Museum in Warsaw photographic exhibition “Treasures of Tyritake” presenting discoveries of the archaeological mission “Tyritake” in season 2010. Below we present photographs from the exhibition.
At 23-26 of August professor Piotr Piotrowski visited Kerch. During his visit he inspected Polish Archaeological Mission “Tyritake” of the National Museum in Warsaw, visited also neighbored archeological sites and visited Kerch Museum exhibitions. During press conference in the Kerch Museum was signed yearly annex to the cooperation agreement regulating current common activities.
In May 2010 joined Polish-Ukrainian publication of the Greek Funerary stelae from collection of the Kerch Museum won Grand Prix award for scientific publication of the year 2009 in Crimea. It was second edition of the Grand Prix for the museum event in Crimea.
At 25th November 2009 public launch of the very first publication prepared as part of the cooperation program with the Kerch museum took place in the bookstore “E” in Kiev (Ukraine) under auspices of the Polish embassy. At the evening the embassy gave reception to celebrate this event.
At September 19th 2008 in the National Museum in Warsaw was held press conference summing up season 2008 of the Polish Archaeological Mission Tyritake of the National Museum in Warsaw.
